Medicess is unique in managing cases through our in-house multidisciplinary rehabilitation case management team. Working as part of our rehabilitation team you will manage your own caseload, as well as offer your professional advice and support to other members of the MDT team.

With in-house collaboration across doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, we provide the highest level of care to our clients.

No private case management experience? No problem, we provide comprehensive training, mentoring, and an individual annual budget for professional development.

Job Specification:
  • Conduct detailed and holistic patient assessments (in patients homes) to evaluate clinical and vocational needs,
  • Develop personalised rehabilitation plans for clients,
  • Coordinate and monitor clinical treatments, investigations, and return-to-work programs,
  • Regular report writing,
  • Communicate with key stakeholders: patients, treating practitioners, employers, solicitors, and insurers,
  • Review medical reports and provide independent rehabilitation strategies.
Essential Criteria:
  • Access to a vehicle to travel to assessments and revisits (up to 3 hours away),
  • Willing to travel or stay away from home to attend patient assessments occasionally as required,
  • Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills,
  • Current clinical knowledge and experience in general/complex orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological and psychological injuries – particular experience with brain injury is desirable,
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team,
  • UK-based candidates only (we do not offer sponsorship),
  • HCPC registered (or registered with your professional body),
  • 3+ years post-graduate experience.

Although our rehabilitation managers are predominantly home based, our clinical team meets regularly virtually and also in person twice a year, plus you will have the additional support of our highly experienced administrative team.
