We created this section to help you understand who Medicess is, why we may be involved in your care, and what rehabilitation case management means for you.

Why have I been referred to Medicess?
You may have been referred to Medicess after an injury to assess your rehabilitation needs and support your recovery.
Our role is to understand how your injury affects you, identify what support may help, and coordinate appropriate treatment with qualified professionals.
We work with solicitors, insurers and healthcare providers, but our clinical recommendations are based solely on your needs and recovery.
What is rehabilitation case management?
Rehabilitation case management is a structured approach to recovery after injury.
A dedicated case manager works with you to:
Understand how your injury affects daily life
Identify suitable rehabilitation support
Arrange appointments and services
Monitor progress
Adjust plans if your needs change
All treatment is delivered by appropriately qualified and regulated healthcare professionals.
Our doctor-led, multidisciplinary approach
Medicess uses a doctor-led multidisciplinary team.
A medical doctor oversees the clinical direction of your rehabilitation. They are supported by professionals such as physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists and vocational specialists where needed.
This helps ensure:
Your rehabilitation is clinically appropriate
Care is coordinated
Decisions are evidence-based
Your choice, consent and independence
Your involvement with Medicess is based on your consent. You have the right to:
Understand why Medicess is involved
Ask questions about your care
Be involved in decisions
Raise concerns or give feedback
Medicess is independent. We do not have financial arrangements that influence our clinical advice.
