Doctor-Led MDT Rehabilitation Services

Complex injuries require multidisciplinary clinical management.

Serious injury recovery requires clinical expertise, robust governance and clear direction

Serious injuries often create physical, psychological, vocational and social challenges that interact throughout recovery.

Effective rehabilitation requires more than arranging treatment. It requires ongoing clinical oversight, multidisciplinary input and active management of recovery as needs evolve.

Medicess delivers doctor-led multidisciplinary rehabilitation case management designed to identify needs early, challenge assumptions, remove barriers to recovery and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Day One Response

Every case begins with Day One Response — our free, doctor-led clinical review.

Within 3–5 working days, we provide:

  • Injury complexity
  • Rehabilitation pathway and trajectory
  • Indicative duration and costs

Early clinical insight helps prevent rehabilitation drift, identifies barriers to recovery and establishes the right rehabilitation pathway from the outset.

Initial Needs Assessments (INA)

Structured assessments confirming:

  • Injury impact
  • Functional limitations
  • Rehabilitation needs
  • Defined recovery goals

Delivered within our doctor-led framework to ensure proportionate, evidence-based planning.

Doctor-Led Multidisciplinary Case Management

Complex injuries involve challenges spanning multiple clinical disciplines.

No single clinician can be expected to provide expert assessment and management across every aspect of recovery.

That is why every Medicess case is magaged by a doctor-led MDT, providing the clinical oversight needed to identify barriers, review progress and guide rehabilitation throughout recovery.

Vocational & Return to Work Programmes

Our structured vocational support includes:

  • Functional capacity planning
  • Workplace assessment
  • Phased return to work
  • Role adaptation where required

The aim is sustainable reintegration.

Rehabilitation Funding & Mediation

We work with all parties to secure timely funding for rehabilitation.

Where funding is delayed, Medicess funds the Initial Needs Assessment on a single instructed basis, payable on settlement.

Where rehabilitation is required but not funded, we can step in to fund essential treatment on an interim basis — ensuring recovery is progressed, not paused.

The Medicess Difference

If you would like to refer a new instruction, our clinical team can provide immediate guidance.
